چکیده
This paper presents an experimental study on the local and global mechanical behaviours of textile-reinforced cementitious matrix composites (TRCs) subjected to cyclic loading. Two configurations are tested: TRCs with one two layers. These were tested under three different loading modes: monotonic until failure, in pre-cracking stage, crack propagation stage 3000 cycles. The was followed by a residual tensile test failure. equipped distributed fibre optic sensors placed at core specimens. enable internal behaviour textile/matrix interface help deduce evolution micro-mechanical parameters TRC, such as load transfer, shear stress contact mode interface. Moreover, digital image correlation technique is used assess widths for TRCs.

Self-Healing Capability of Fibre Reinforced Cementitious Composites
Abstract In order to investigate the self-healing capability of fibre reinforced cementitious composites (FRCC), mechanical properties and surface morphology of crack in FRCC were studied. Three types of FRCC specimens containing (1) polyethylene (PE) fibre, (2) steel cord (SC) fibre, and (3) hybrid fibres composite (both of PE and SC) were prepared. These specimens, in which cracks were introd...
متن کاملMechanical Behaviour of Sisal Fibre Reinforced Cement Composites
Emphasis on the advancement of new materials and technology has been there for the past few decades. The global development towards using cheap and durable materials from renewable resources contributes to sustainable development. An experimental investigation of mechanical behaviour of sisal fibrereinforced concrete is reported for making a suitable building material in terms of reinforcement....
متن کاملAnalysis of Graphite Reinforced Cementitious Composites
This paper describes analytical methods that can be used to determine the deflections and stresses in highly compliant graphite-reinforced cementitious composites. It is demonstrated that the standard transform section method fails to provide accurate results when the elastic modulus ratio exceeds 20. So an alternate approach is formulated by using the rule of mixtures to determine a set of eff...
